Jakarta, June 19, 2026 – The Central Executive Board of Perempuan Amanat Nasional (DPP PUAN) officially inaugurated its new leadership at Balai Sarbini, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman Kav. 50, South Jakarta, on Friday (June 19, 2026). The event, held from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM WIB, was conducted in a solemn yet festive atmosphere, reflecting a strong spirit of unity and commitment to women’s empowerment in Indonesia.
The inauguration marked an important milestone in strengthening the consolidation of women’s leadership and participation under the umbrella of the National Mandate Party (PAN). The event was attended by PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan, DPP PUAN Chairwoman Farah Putri Nahlia, Members of the House of Representatives (DPR RI), government ministry officials, representatives of public institutions, academics, women’s rights activists, community leaders, and hundreds of invited guests from across Indonesia.
The ceremony was further enlivened by the presence of prominent national figures, including singer, politician, and public figure ****, widely known as Pasha Ungu. His attendance highlighted the broad support from various sectors of society for the advancement of women’s empowerment initiatives championed by DPP PUAN ,
The participation of Members of Parliament, ministry officials, political leaders, and public figures demonstrated strong national support for enhancing the role of women in Indonesia’s development agenda. The inauguration served not only as an organizational event but also as a strategic platform to strengthen collaboration between women’s organizations, government institutions, and legislative bodies.
In her keynote speech, DPP PUAN Chairwoman Farah Putri Nahlia emphasized that Indonesian women must become a driving force for positive change within society. According to her, women play a central role in family development, education, economic growth, healthcare, and public decision-making.
“PUAN is committed to empowering Indonesian women, ensuring equal opportunities, and encouraging meaningful contributions to national development,” she stated before distinguished guests and attendees.
Farah Putri Nahlia also highlighted that the new leadership will focus on women’s empowerment programs, human resource development, family economic resilience, entrepreneurship, and greater female participation in social and political affairs.
Meanwhile, PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan stressed that women hold a strategic position in Indonesia’s future development. He noted that the progress of a nation is inseparable from the quality and strength of its women, who serve as the foundation for future generations.
“Women are not merely supporters of development; they are key actors who make significant contributions to building a prosperous, competitive, and progressive society,” he said.
He expressed hope that DPP PUAN would become a productive and progressive platform capable of addressing contemporary challenges through programs that directly benefit communities throughout Indonesia.
The inauguration ceremony included the official oath-taking and the presentation of mandates to the newly appointed DPP PUAN executives. The event was filled with optimism as participants expressed their support for the new leadership and its vision for the future.
Several Members of Parliament and ministry officials attending the event praised the inauguration and emphasized the importance of women’s organizations as strategic partners in promoting gender equality, family welfare, educational access, economic empowerment, and sustainable national development.
